Technology that works the first time — and keeps working.

Systech sets up, secures and simplifies the technology homes and small businesses depend on. Every engagement begins with a plain-English scope and a fixed quote, e-signed before anything is touched or charged.

  • Named consultant from scope to sign-off — never a call queue
  • Fixed price agreed in writing before work begins
  • Most issues resolved in a single encrypted remote session

Platforms and ecosystems we configure every week

Systech is an independent consulting practice and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, these companies.

What we do

Twelve services, one standard of delivery

Each one is a defined project with a written scope — not an open-ended hourly meter.

Device setup & configuration

Computers, laptops, tablets and printers configured end to end — accounts, updates, drivers and the settings that keep them stable.

Printing that stops failing

Offline printers, driver conflicts, wireless drop-outs and scan-to-email — diagnosed at the cause rather than patched over.

Wi-Fi & network design

Coverage measured where you actually work, then channels, placement and firmware corrected — and guest traffic kept separate.

Cloud & email migration

Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and iCloud set up with real accounts, verified backups and mail that lands in inboxes.

Security you can explain

Updates, password hygiene, multi-factor sign-in and tested backups — with a written summary of what protects what.

Compliance & site audits

Access reviews, retention and encryption guidance, plus an independent performance and security review of your website.

By the numbers

What we put in writing

Not marketing language — these are the terms in every service agreement we issue.

Fixed-price guaranteeIf the job grows, we re-quote. Nothing is added after the fact.
You control the sessionEncrypted, started by you, visible throughout, ended on your click.
Outcome or refundIf a scoped outcome is not delivered, that fee is returned in full.
No data takenWe access only what the scope requires and copy nothing off your systems.
No hardware commissionWe recommend what you need and earn nothing on what you buy.
Documentation you keepCredentials and configuration handed to you — no vendor lock-in.
Common scenarios

What a typical engagement looks like

Three of the situations we are called about most often, and how each one is worked through.

Home · Printing

A printer that keeps dropping offline

Usually a router handing out a new address each time the printer sleeps, often alongside two conflicting driver installs. The fix is a reserved address, removal of the duplicate drivers, and rebuilding the print queue on every device in the house.

Business · Migration

Moving off an ageing office server

A small firm on a local server with no verified backup. We inventory the shares first, migrate mailboxes and files to Microsoft 365 in stages, and keep the old source read-only until you have signed off on what landed.

Accounts nobody has reviewed in years

Shared logins, no multi-factor sign-in, and a backup that stopped running months ago without anyone noticing. We rebuild access properly, switch on MFA across the accounts that matter, and leave a backup routine that is tested rather than assumed.

The difference

Why people leave phone support for us

Every row below is a term in our written service agreement, not a marketing claim.

How a Systech engagement compares with typical remote tech support.
What matters Typical phone support Systech
Who you speak to Whoever answers, reading a script One named consultant, start to finish
Price Per-minute or open-ended hourly Fixed, e-signed before work begins
If the job grows Added to your invoice We stop and re-quote for approval
If it cannot be fixed You are billed for the time Follow-up free, then that fee refunded
Remote access Software left installed afterwards Session ends when you close it

How it works

Four steps, no surprises

The same process whether it is one printer or a ten-person office rollout.

1

Tell us the problem

A short call or form. We ask what is happening, what you have tried, and what "fixed" means to you.

2

Get a fixed quote

A written scope with the work, the timeline and the price. You e-sign it before any payment is taken.

3

We do the work

An encrypted remote session at a time you pick. You watch the screen throughout and can stop at any point.

4

Test and hand over

We test it with you, then send a plain-English summary of what changed and how to keep it working.

Transparent pricing

Objections, answered

Questions people ask before booking

Do you need physical access to my devices?

Almost never. Nearly all work is delivered through an encrypted remote session that you start and can end at any time. Where hardware genuinely has to be replaced, we tell you before you pay and walk you through the options — and we earn nothing on what you buy.

What if you cannot fix it?

We first attempt to complete the scoped outcome in a follow-up session at no extra charge. If it still cannot be delivered, that fee is refunded in full. Full terms are in our refund policy.

What does a session cost?

Single projects start at $49 for a remote diagnostic. Anything larger is quoted as a fixed price in writing before work begins — see Plans & Pricing.

Is a remote session safe?

The connection is encrypted, initiated by you, visible on your screen throughout, and ends when you close it. We do not install permanent remote access unless you specifically request it as part of a support plan.

Tell us what is broken. We will tell you what it takes.

A free ten-minute discovery call, an honest assessment, and a fixed quote if you want to go ahead. No obligation either way.
