Frequently asked questions

Everything people usually ask before booking. If your question is not here, call us or send it through the contact form — we will answer it directly.

Services & scope

What services does Systech provide?

IT consulting for homes and small businesses: device and printer setup, print workflow, Wi-Fi and office networking, smart home integration, cloud and email migration, data protection, compliance guidance and website security audits. The full list is on the services page.

Who do you work with?

Homeowners, home-office professionals and small businesses — typically teams of two to twenty-five people — that need reliable IT setup and consulting without an in-house IT department.

Do you fix hardware?

We are a consulting and configuration practice, so our work is on software, settings, networks and cloud services. If a diagnostic shows the fault is physical, we tell you exactly what has failed and what a sensible replacement looks like — with no commission on whatever you decide to buy.

Can you work alongside my existing IT provider?

Yes. We are often brought in for a specific project or an independent second opinion. We will coordinate with your provider, or simply hand you the findings if you prefer to act on them yourself.

Sessions & delivery

Is the work done remotely?

Almost always. You start a secure remote session, watch the screen the whole way, and can end it at any moment. Remote-first keeps the cost lower and means we can usually book you the same or next day.

How quickly can you help?

Enquiries are answered within one business day, and most single-issue sessions are booked within twenty-four hours. Support-plan clients get priority scheduling, including evenings and Saturdays.

How long does a session take?

A diagnostic is usually thirty to sixty minutes. A printer or device setup typically runs one to two hours. Larger projects such as a cloud migration are scheduled in planned stages, and the timeline is written into your scope.

Do I need to be there?

For a remote session, yes — you approve the connection and stay in control throughout. Where work can be done safely without you present, such as a staged migration, we will agree that in advance and confirm when it is complete.

Pricing & payment

How is pricing decided?

By the number of devices, the length of cover and how complex the environment is. Every price is confirmed in an e-signed service agreement before payment. See Plans & Pricing for the published ranges.

What if the job is bigger than quoted?

We stop and re-quote. You decide whether to continue. Nothing gets added to your invoice after the fact.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Major credit cards, bank transfer, ACH bank transfer, and check for business accounts.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, under the terms set out in our refund and replacement policy. If we cannot deliver what was scoped, you are not charged for it.

Coverage, security & data

Where are your services available?

Across all 50 US states. Because delivery is remote-first, your location does not affect the price.

Is a remote session safe?

The session is encrypted, initiated by you, visible to you throughout, and ends when you close it. We do not install permanent remote access unless you specifically ask for it as part of a support plan.

What happens to my passwords?

Wherever possible you enter credentials yourself rather than sharing them. Where an administrator account genuinely has to be used, we recommend changing that password once the work is complete, and we will remind you to do it.

How is my data handled?

We access only what the scoped work requires, and we do not copy personal files off your systems. Full detail is in our privacy policy.

How do I request a service?

Request a quote through the contact page or call (800) 654-8894. Tell us the symptom and what you have already tried — that alone usually shortens the first call.

Still have a question?

Ask it directly. A consultant answers — not an automated reply — usually within one business day.
